EMERGENCY FUND

We are responding to a refugee or local crisis unlike anything we've seen before and your monthly support helps us work on unexpected expenses. Food rations have been cut to more than 1.5 million vulnerable refugees in Uganda by the World Food Programme (WFP) because of insufficient funds.

Children, women and men are in urgent need of your help. By becoming a monthly donor, one time donor  you’ll provide stable and reliable funding, so we can respond without delay to new emergencies.

You can choose to designate your gift to our emergency fund, our ongoing livelihoods work or wherever the need is greatest. After fleeing war or persecution, the opportunity to work and earn a living is one of the most effective ways people can rebuild their lives with dignity. Your gift can help empower refugees to build strong social, economic and cultural ties within Uganda, and strengthen their capacity to lead independent and fulfilling lives. We use it  to cover medical expenses for the kids or moms in the program, food, providing capital to the widow after completion of the training, and covering school fees, buying shoes to kids in the program. This fund is  used exclusively to address emergencies.
